Next-Generation High-Speed Measurement Workshop
March 18, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Do you have an interest in high-speed strain and displacement measurements? Regardless of what type of high-speed camera you use, or even if you don’t have one at all, this workshop will show you how to turn your images into quantitative results for your testing using our Digital Image Correlation software.
Join us at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Wright-Patterson AFB, OH (just outside of Dayton) for our half-day Next-Generation High-Speed Measurement Workshop. This event will showcase how easily you can take high-speed measurements with ARAMIS 3D Digital Image Correlation (DIC) System, including high-speed strain, displacements, and vibration analysis measurements. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the experts at Photron High-Speed Cameras. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to become expert users in the art of high-speed digital image correlation!
Digital Image Correlation provides precise measurements of real, complex materials and structures, making it the perfect tool in aerospace testing. Using high-speed camera equipment can provide critical data for accurate measurement and precise validation of computer models. Opening the door for several applications such as ballistic impact, bomb blast effect testing, crash testing, Hopkinson Bar testing, etc. ARAMIS is reported to be 10x cheaper than traditional gages, 50x faster to use, and 100x more data for better model validation!
Included with the workshop is a free copy of our 2D evaluation software. Trilion can readily import test images from any external camera, making this workshop open to all who have high-speed camera equipment.
