FASTCAM Mini W Series
High-resolution, high-speed imaging with exceptional sensitivity, flexible lens support, and a compact rugged design for research and industry.
High-resolution performance without a large camera footprint.
The FASTCAM Mini W5 and Mini W2 combine a 2.4-megapixel CMOS image sensor with high frame rates, class-leading light sensitivity, and 12-bit image recording for demanding scientific and industrial applications.
At full 2,048 × 1,152 resolution, the Mini W5 records at 5,000 frames per second while the Mini W2 records at 2,000 frames per second. Full HD performance reaches 5,280 fps on the Mini W5 and 2,750 fps on the Mini W2.
A global electronic shutter as short as 2 microseconds freezes rapid motion, while flexible Nikon G, C-mount, Canon EF, Canon RF, and M42 lens options support a wide range of optical setups.
Resolution, speed, and sensitivity in one compact platform
The Mini W series provides high spatial resolution at useful frame rates while maintaining the sensitivity needed for short exposure times and difficult lighting conditions.
