FASTCAM SA-Z
The FASTCAM SA-Z provided megapixel image resolution at frame rates up to 21,000 fps and recording rates up to 2 million fps at reduced resolution.
FASTCAM SA-X2
The FASTCAM SA-X2 offered recording rates up to 13,500 fps at megapixel image resolution with 12-bit dynamic range and high image quality.
FASTCAM SA6
The FASTCAM SA6 supported high-definition recording for automotive safety testing, fluid dynamics, solid mechanics, and other demanding applications.
FASTCAM SA5
The FASTCAM SA5 offered megapixel resolution at 7,500 fps and a maximum frame rate of 1 million fps at reduced image resolutions.
FASTCAM SA4
The FASTCAM SA4 offered megapixel resolution at 3,600 fps and a maximum frame rate of 500,000 fps at reduced resolution.
FASTCAM SA1.1
The FASTCAM SA1.1 offered megapixel resolution at 5,400 fps and a maximum frame rate of 675,000 fps at reduced resolution.
FASTCAM Multi
The FASTCAM Multi featured one or two lightweight, environmentally sealed camera heads tethered to a remote processor and offered up to 4,800 fps at 1280 × 1024 pixels.
FASTCAM MH4
The FASTCAM MH4 supported up to four miniature camera heads connected to a central processor that maintained precise synchronization across all recorded views.
FASTCAM MC2.1
The FASTCAM MC2.1 was designed to help production-line engineers quickly locate and correct costly faults and recurring manufacturing problems.
PhotoCam Speeder V2
The PhotoCam Speeder V2 was engineered to make it easier to capture and analyze costly, time-consuming production-line jams.
Document the Legacy Setup
Record the legacy model, lens, resolution, frame rate, exposure, memory, trigger, cabling, mounting, and environmental requirements.
Identify What Must Improve
Determine whether the replacement needs better sensitivity, greater resolution, faster recording, longer duration, smaller size, or newer interfaces.
Confirm Compatibility
Ask Photron to review software, file formats, synchronization, accessories, lenses, mounting, and workflow compatibility before purchasing.
