Photron, a world leader in high speed camera technology, is pleased to announce the launching of its new high speed video gallery on the Photron website. Showcasing slow motion videos from a wide range of Photron high speed camera systems, the gallery is broken down in to key application sections including, automotive, fluid dynamics, ballistics, and many others.

For the sake of internet bandwidth and display resolution limitations the videos are displayed at reduced 640 x 480 pixel resolution, but it is possible to download original resolution or smaller MOV or WMV formatted files directly from the site.

The videos displayed were recorded at a wide range of speeds from 250 frames per second (fps) on up to many thousands of frames per seconds, and at resolutions as large as the new Fastcam BC2 or SA2's high definition 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

The gallery represents just the latest effort to update the Photron website, look out for many new features in the coming months. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Photron's new high speed gallery is worth many million more.
